09E001 – How to setup your Optin Boxes

This is a really powerful feature you can use to build your email list and basically take KLEQ on the road. This tool enables you to use all the features that KLEQ offers, wherever you want.

To Get Started:

  • Go to Boosters, then select Optin Boxes. 
  • The Optin Boxes dashboard will open. Click on the Plus (+) icon on the upper right hand corner.
    In the pop up window, add a name for the Optin box.
  • Then click on the Next Step button.
  • Once done, the Optin Box editor will open.

⚙ STEP 1 – SETTINGS:

Here you can configure your Form settings.
This is the primary setting to build your list.

The Form Settings in the left sidebar panel will open.

Select Form Type

Here you can select the type of form you want to use for your Optin Box.
You can select either Form Pop Up or Audience + Form Pop Up.

Form Pop Up

    • Under When user submits the form, select if you want to add the users to your emailing system, or Send details to webform code.

Activate any of the additional KLEQ features if needed e.g. GoTo Webinar registration, Register for Countdown Timer, Evergreen Launch or Viral Share etc.
Switch the toggle on the relevant tool you would like to register the user to and then select the appropriate option from the drop-down menu.

For example:
+ Enable Request Terms Acceptance

TIP! If you want to include a Terms and Conditions section that requires users to agree to your T&C’s before opting in, simply tick the Terms Acceptance feature. Add the Link to your Terms & Conditions for the Optin Box, with a simple explanation advising users that your terms and conditions should be read and accepted before Opting In.

TIP! If you don’t want to send out a confirmation email to users after registering them to your Viral Share Campaign, simply tick the Do not send registration email feature.

  • If you do use the additional features, under Redirect to this page on Optin, select the relevant page you want users to reach once they optin.
  • Once done, click on SAVE.
  • Back in the Optin Box settings section, click on Form Pop Up.

  • Once done, click on SAVE.

Audience + Form Pop Up
If you select this option, you will be able to include the Audience feature with your Pop-up Form

  • Switch the toggle on the Register to Audience.
    Then select the relevant Audience that you want to register users to.
  • Under Redirect to this page on Optin, select the relevant page you want users to reach once they optin.
  • Once done, click on SAVE.
  • Back in the Optin Box settings section, click on Audiences Pop Up in the left-sidebar menu. Here you can edit the design of the Audience template
  • Under Audience, select the relevant Audience you want to use.
  • Once done, click on SAVE.

 


⚡ STEP 2 – CONTENT

Here you can customize the look of your Form Pop Up or Audience+Form Pop Up.
The pop-ups now support our advanced page builder, which means you can adjust the layout of the pop-ups to match your brand.

Audience + Form Pop Up
This option will be enabled once Audience + Form Pop Up is selected in your Form Settings.

  • To add the correct Audience booster and display the correct answers for your pop up, select it in Form Settings > Register to Audience. To setup an Audience Booster, please proceed here.
  • Use this guide on how to use the 3 options; Modal View, Popup Background, and Popup Border.

Form Pop Up

  • Upon click of Form Pop up, the Form Pop Up window will appear in your page editor.
    Use this guide on how to use the 3 options; Modal View, Popup Background, and Popup Border.
    NB! You may remove the form block from the pop up if you want to create an optin box with contents only.
  • These are the available blocks that you can add on the Form Pop Up.

New: You may now add quiz to optin boxes.
You may remove the blocks that you don’t need in the Form Pop up and then simply add the Quiz block.

 


⚙ STEP 3 – TRIGGERS

Once the Form Settings and Optin Layout has been configured, next you need to setup the Optin trigger. There are 3 different triggers you can use e.g. Button, Text Link and Image triggers.

  • Image Trigger
    Here you can upload an image from your computer or select an image from your Image Gallery that when clicked, Form Pop-Up will appear.
  • Text Link Trigger
    If you setup this option, you will be able to trigger your Optin Pop Up via a simple Text Link.
  • Button Trigger
    If you setup this option, you will be able to trigger your Optin Pop Up via a button.
    Once your Triggers have been setup, click on Admin.

Back in the Optin Boxes dashboard, you will now see your new Optin Box!

Additional options:

  • To Edit an Optin Box, click on the Edit button to the right of the optin.
  • This is where the Embed code for your Optin Pop Ups are listed
    i.e. the Button Embed, Link Embed and Image Embed Codes.
  • To check the Booster Location, you may click the (i) icon. This will show you where that particular optin box is being utilized.
  • To Delete an Optin Box, click on the (x) Delete button to the right of the optin.
