Members’ Area Gamification will help you to motivate your members to complete your online courses. This will allow you to give Titles, Points, and Trophies to your members once they perform certain actions.
To do this:
- Go to Members Area and then Online Courses.
- Click the ellipsis (3 dots) in the upper right corner, then select Gamification.
The Gamification pop-up will appear containing the options Member Titles, Points, and Trophies.
Member Titles
This option will allow you to create custom member titles that will appear next to your members’ names in the Forum and on the Social wall.
To add a new title, simply start by expanding the title Member Titles tab by clicking on the plus (+) sign on the right.
Once expanded, you can click on +Add Title to open the options, where you will need to insert a Title, assign the needed number of Points to reach that title and you can also set a custom color for that title.
Once you have added all your Titles, simply click on SAVE to store them.
Points
To define the number of points needed for each title, and what they represent, you need to expand the Points tab by clicking on the plus (+) sign on the right.
Users can be granted points for completing actions in the Forum and Social wall:
– Creating a post
– Replying to a post
– Liking a post
– Receiving a like
– Landing on page
– Playing a video
– Playing an audio
– Completing a lesson
– Completing a quiz
– Completing all lessons from a course
– Completing all quizzes from a course
– Getting a certificate
Trophies
Trophies are special achievements the user can earn based on different rules.
+ All Lessons from Page
+ Certificates Received
+ Course Completed – select the name of the specific course.
+ Courses Completed
+ Lessons Completed
+ Likes Given
+ Likes Received
+ Posts Created
+ Quizzes Completed
- You can add new trophies there by clicking on add new like for member titles. For example, for the following setup:
- You can add a custom image to the trophy by clicking the Trophy image in the left side of the title.
Once clicked, it will automatically open your computer’s document folder which will allow you to select an image.
- To change the background color of the image, simply click on the Background Color picker in the right side.
Once clicked, this will open the Color Wheel, where you can select whichever color you prefer.
Member Titles on Achievements
Once you are done with the setup, you can log into the member’s area, and under Profile and then select Achievements you will see your new titles being available. 
Trophies on Achievements
On each trophy, there is a progress bar that indicates the member’s progress. It must be full first in order for them to get the trophy.
Each time a trophy is earned, there would be achievements animation and sound.

Member Titles on Social Wall and Forum
The member title will also appear beside the names of the members on Social Wall and Forum. As you can see in the example below:

Member titles will also appear in the Member Directory and will be displayed beside the member’s name on the directory list.
Manually edit the points of members as an Admin
As an admin of the site, you can edit the points of the members and this will change their rank or member title, depending on what points you have set up for each member title.
To do this:
- Go to Members Area and then select Manage Members
- Search for the member.
- Click on the edit button (pencil)
- Scroll down and look for Points.
- Edit the points and SAVE CHANGES.
