The page builder Section is a structure that houses the Rows and Blocks for a particular part of your pages. Sections are surrounded by a blue border and each section added to a page has individual settings. Below is an overview of the various Section settings. Sections are available on Campaign Pages only.
Details
- Section Type
This feature allows you to adjust the width of a section.
From the drop-down, simply select the relevant width you prefer
e.g. Full Width | Full Width Large (1120px) | Full Width Medium (960px) |
Full Width Small (720px) | Full Width + Custom Content Width | Large (1120px) | Medium (960px) | Small (720px) | Custom Content WidthNote:
Full Width + Custom Content Width – The section is full width but the content area will be the size that you will specify in pixel.
Custom Content Width – The size of the section will be same with the size of the content area that you will specify in pixel.
This feature will allow you to specify the size of the section in pixel.
Background
The feature allows you to change the background of a section.
- Background Color
The feature allows you to change the background color of the section.
To change the background color, you can either add a Hex code in the field provided or choose a color from the Color Wheel.
If the Color Wheel is closed, simply click on the Color Picker button to the right of the background field. - Background Color Opacity
This feature allows you to change the opacity of the background.
Simply move the slider left or right to increase or decrease the transparency. - Media Background
Simply enable the toggle to use either Image or Video background. .
Background Type > Image
- Image
Upload an image you want to use for the background of your section.
Image width should match the Section type you are using e.g. image would be 1120 wide if your section type is Full Width Large (1120px) or Large (1120px). Click on Browse to upload an image from your computer.
OR, click Select from gallery if you want to use an image that’s already been uploaded or been used in another template or page. Once clicked, the image gallery popup window will appear with all the available images listed. - Background Repeat
This feature will repeat the image you upload for the background, so that you have multiples copies of the same image displayed across the section.From the drop-down, you have different repeat options to choose from i.e.
No Repeat: the uploaded image will display as is
Repeat : the uploaded image will repeat vertically and horizontally across the section
Repeat-x: uploaded image will repeat horizontally only
Repeat-y: uploaded image will repeat vertically only - Background Size
This feature allows you to control how the uploaded image displays.
Auto: the image will display as per it’s dimensions
Cover : the image will cover the entire section
Contained : the image will display in top half of the section.
Parallax : the image will fill the width and height of the section and all rows and blocks added to the section will appear above the section image as if it is floating.
100% 100%: the image will fill the width and height of the section and the image, rows and blocks added to the section will move as one unit as you scroll down the page.
100% auto: the image will fill the width and will be centered. - Background Position
This feature allows you to control the position of your background image inside of the section. - Overlay Color
If enabled, this allows you to change the overlay color of the section.
To change the overlay color, you can either add a Hex code in the field provided or choose a color from the Color Wheel.
If the Color Wheel is closed, simply click on the Color Picker button to the right of the overlay field. - Overlay Color Opacity
This feature allows you to change the opacity of the overlay color.
Simply move the slider left or right to increase or decrease the transparency of the image.
Background Type > Video
- Background Video Url
Use a Self-Hosted video URL such as Amazon S3 video. Background Video will always be muted.
For Self-Hosted videos, the URL must end with .MP4 such as in the image below.
- Overlay Color

To change the overlay color, you can either add a Hex code in the field provided or choose a color from the Color Wheel.

This feature allows you to change the opacity of the overlay color.
Simply move the slider left or right to increase or decrease the transparency of the image.
Borders
This feature allows you to add a border around your section.
- Borders
Select whether you want a full border where the Section is wrapped in a border or simply one side of the section has a border e.g. None, All Border (full border), Top Border, Bottom Border, Right Border, Left Border, Left and Right Borders - Border Type
You can select the style for your border.
TIP 01 In order to see the border around your section, you need to select one of the style options available e.g. Solid, dashed or dotted. If the setting is left on No Border Style, your selection in the Borders setting will not work.TIP 02 To add space between your section and the border, remember to add Padding.

You can change thickness of the border by selecting the pixel width you prefer. - Border Radius
You can add rounded edges to the border by selecting the relevant pixel or percentage width. You may now control each side by entering the number on the Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Right and Bottom Left box. - Border Color
You can change the color used for the border. To use custom colors, simply paste the Hex code of the exact color you want in field provided e.g. #000000 = black or click on the Color Picker button to the right of the field. This will open the Color Wheel, where you can select whichever color you prefer.
Spacing
This feature allows you to add more space around your Section.
- Padding
You can add padding around your section, so that there is additional space. Simply add the numeric (pixel) value to the Top, Bottom, Right or left padding field provided.
This is particularly helpful if you want to add a border around your Section. - Margin Bottom
This feature allows you to add more space below the Section
Simply add the numeric (pixel) value to the field provided.
Options
- Element Id:
This shows the element id of the pricing table block, which can then be used by CSS and JavaScript to perform certain tasks for the element with the specific id value. To learn more, please check here
- Classes:
This feature allows is used to define equal styles for elements with the same class name. To learn more, please check here - Position
Shows the position where you can lock this section if you want.
You have the following options:Standard – the section will functions as default and when scrolling, it will not be fixed.
Fixed to top – the section will be fixed, and when scrolling, it will scroll together with the page.
Fixed to bottom – he section will be fixed, and when scrolling, it will scroll together with the page. - Delay in Seconds
Enter how many seconds you want to delay the display of the content.
Animation
This tool allows you to add animation effects to your Section.
- Type
From this drop-down you can choose a trigger to activate the animation i.e.
+ None – no animation will be applied
+ On Page Load – the animation is triggered as the page loads
+ On Page Scroll – the animation is triggered only when the user scrolls to that section. - Style
This feature adds an animation style to your Section. Simply choose the preferred option from the drop-down menu.
+ Fade In – the Section will fade in from the background
+ Scale In – the Section scales in from the background
+ Top – the Section will slide in from the top
+ Right – the Section will slide in from the right
+ Bottom – the Section will slide in from the bottom
+ Left – the Section will slide in from the left - Delay (ms)
If you want to add a time delay for when the Section appears, simply add the delay in milliseconds e.g. 3000ms will be 3 second delay.
Mobile
This feature allows you to adjust the size of the padding or spacing when in mobile view.
- Padding
Adjust the padding or additional spaces on your section when in Mobile view. Simply add the numeric (pixel) value to the Top, Bottom, Right or left padding field provided.
Display
This feature allows you to choose the type of device you want the section to display.
- Display
From this drop-down, you can choose which device you want to display the section.
+ All Devices – the Section will be displayed on both desktop and mobile devices
+ Desktop Only – the Section will be displayed on desktop devices only
+ Mobile Only – the Section will be displayed on mobile devices only
+ None – the Section will be grayed out and will not be displayed on both desktop and mobile devices
That’s it, click on SAVE button and you are done!
