02008 – How to enable the Drip Feed feature for Rows & Blocks

The new Course Content drip feed feature allows you to manage when different elements on your Course Pages are visible to users. This is particularly useful if you don’t want to release all content on a particular page in one go.

What does it mean to drip feed content? Watch this video

Types of Drip:

  • Automated: Based on registration date
This will deliver the content of your course page (block/rows) on autopilot and members will be able to access the element of the page depending on their course registration date.
  • Scheduled: Delivered on a specific date
With this feature, you can choose a date when a specific course page element (block/row) will be accessible.
Simply select the date, time, and timezone.

Open the relevant course by clicking the green Content button.
Choose the course page you would like to edit by clicking the Edit button.

    Automated: Based on registration date
Scheduled: Delivered on a specific date
  • Number of days: You have to specify the number of days based on the registration date when they can access the element.
If you enter the number 7 in the drip feed option, this means that a member needs to have been registered for that course for 7 or more days before he can see the content. If he has been a member for less then 7 days he will not see the content.
  • This option allows you to deliver the content of your course on autopilot.
NOTE! The Timezone that is set on Global settings will be applied. For example:1. Today is August 3 at 23:58 and drip is enabled for 2 days (August 5). The page will be available on August 5 at 00:01.2. Today August 3 at 14:30 and drip is enabled for 2 days (August 5). The page will be available on August 5 at 00:01 also.We will count the number of days and not 24 hours.
