We now accept Apple Pay and Google Pay in our Stripe checkout on the order page.
To do this:
- To set up Apple Pay on your Stripe account for the first time, please follow the steps here: Enable Apple Pay on your Stripe account
- Once enabled, in your Stripe account, please go to Payment method domains page, click Add new domain.
- Enter your KLEQ domain name. (e.g. kleq.com)
NB: If the domain contains www, then the domain name on Stripe should be with www, e.g. www.kleq.com, because otherwise Apple Pay will not work. - Click Save and continue.
- The Additional steps for Apple Pay modal on the right side will appear.
- On step 1, download the verification file: this will be a text file titled apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association.
- Please ensure that your KLEQ domain shows correctly in the step 2. The resulting URL should look like https://yourwebsite.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association.
To upload the verification file to your website, simply go to KLEQ Settings > Integrations > Payment Systems > Stripe: - Click on the Browse button. Then select the text file titled apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association from your computer file.
- Click on SAVE CHANGES.
- Then go back to your Stripe account, click on the Verify button in the Additional steps for Apple Pay modal step 3.
- The domain’s status will change from Unverified to Enabled.
- Once you’ve completed the setup, your order page payment block should look like this:
