If you go to a page that does not exist in some sites you reach a 404 Error page.
The 301 Redirect feature allows you to automatically redirect people to a specific page if they try to go to a page that does not exist.
Setting up a 301 redirect in your site is very simple. Simply create a page you would like to have as your 404 error page. Get as creative as you like here.
Then follow these steps:
- Go to Settings in the left-sidebar menu and then select Global Settings.
- Scroll down to the 404 Page Settings.
- In the field 404 Page 301 Redirect, paste in the URL of relevant page you want to use.
- Click on SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of the page.
