Before uploading your images you want to optimize them for the web. This will ensure they load fast and are the smallest file size possible.

Here are some general rules when creating images for web

+ use jpeg for Photos
+ use png or Gif for images.
+ Use a resolution of 720
+ Try to resize your images to a reasonable number of pixels (ie don’t use a 3000 pixel width image… that is way too big)
+ Once you export your image, optimize it for the web. Here are two free tools we use:
