To integrate MailChimp with KLEQ, all that is needed is your MailChimp App Id and API Key.
To Do This:

- Login to your MailChimp account.
If you don’t have one yet, you may sign up here. - Once you’re logged in, go to your MailChimp address bar.
Copy the first 4 characters in the URL.
This is your MailChimp App ID.
- Login to your MailChimp account.

- Login to your KLEQ site.
Go to Settings in the left-sidebar menu and then select Integrations.
- Click MailChimp.
Then, paste the ID in the App Id field.
- Go back to your MailChimp site.
To get your API Key, click your avatar in the upper right corner.
Then, select Account.
- Login to your KLEQ site.

- In the next screen, click Extras and then select API Keys.
- In the next screen, click Extras and then select API Keys.

- Under Your API Keys, click Create a Key.
- Under Your API Keys, click Create a Key.

- Your new API Key will be created. Simply copy.
- Your new API Key will be created. Simply copy.
- Go back to your KLEQ site.
Paste it to the API Key field. - Click on SAVE CHANGES.
That’s it! This integration will now allow you to add new contacts to your MailChimp lists, add tags and custom field values. As well as create new tags and custom fields from your site.
- IMPORTANT:
In your MailChimp’s Audience settings, DO NOT enable the setting Enable double opt-in. This function is not yet supported by KLEQ and will prevent users from being added to your MailChimp list.
- In MailChimp List, the Last Name field is required. You may just need to change the settings and set the field to not required.
